Content: Avira AntiVir Personal is a free version of the Avira security package. It includes a daily updated antivirus, fully functional and with access to all options. You will see, however, an advertisement screen every time it updates (once a day). Avira AntiVir is an easy-to-use application, and you will not usually notice it. If anything is detected you will hear a buzzing sound and a dialog window will appear. All of its options are
configurable to your preferences. You have the possibility to add files to quarantine or add them to an exclusion list, meaning they will never be checked again.
As any modern antivirus, AntiVir permanently scans your files, whenever you open, read, or write them, making sure no infection is being smuggled into your computer. Furthermore, if you want, you can configure it to look for prank software and general malware.
